About the Journal

The Iraqi Journal of Applied Art (IJAA) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed academic research journal published by the Applied Arts College, Middle Technical University, Baghdad, Iraq. It aims to meet the increasing demands of Iraq's academic community for a specialized applied arts journal. IJAA is published bi-annually, with two volumes released per year, in the English language.

The Iraqi Journal of Applied Art welcomes research and articles in the following fields:

  • Art and Humanities Miscellaneous: includes Interior Design and Industrial Design.
  • Communication (Rt): includes Advertising and Media Studies.

 

Mission: IJAA

 IJAA is committed to fostering excellence in research and scholarship by providing a forum for the dissemination of high-quality, original research articles, reviews, and technical notes.

Our mission is to contribute to the development of applied arts with a particular focus on addressing the unique challenges and opportunities present in the Iraqi context.

IJAA adopts an open access policy, providing immediate and unrestricted access to its content. We believe that making research freely available to the public promotes a greater global exchange of knowledge.
