Aim and Scope


Iraqi Journal of Applied Art (IJAA) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed academic research journal published by the Technical College of Applied Arts- Baghdad / Middle Technical University-Baghdad-Iraq to meet the increasing demands of Iraq's academic community for a specialist applied arts journal. It is published bi-annually, every six months, at a rate of two volumes per year in the English language.

 

Aims
Iraqi Journal of Applied Art is a leading international academic journal dedicated to the comprehensive review of research in the field of applied arts.

The primary goal is to publish works relevant to a wide audience of researchers and academics in the applied arts. The journal welcomes original scientific research papers concerned with applied art and their various directions and results in all fields of the journal. The visions of Iraqi Journal of Applied Art are applied and technical research on interior design, industrial design, advertising techniques, and their effects on society and the environment.

in addition to theory and critical analysis in the fields of applied arts, in a way that stimulates leadership of thought and the academic community for creative production.

Applied arts studies fill a unique place among research in diverse fields, and to clarify the impact of this research output on society, we can crystallize it through the following distinctive aims.

 

Scope
 Iraqi Journal of Applied Art seeks to expand the boundaries of knowledge and practice concerned with applied arts. We invite authors to submit papers that not only challenge traditional norms and methodologies but also promote forward-thinking and inclusive dialogue within the arts community. Our scope includes a wide range of applied arts fields, including but not limited to interior design, industrial design, product design, visual, print, and digital advertising, and innovative design models within the context of comprehensive research.

Iraqi Journal of Applied Art welcomes research and articles that express its basic areas and that achieve the main objectives of the journal.

 Our mission at Iraqi Journal of Applied Art is to promote contemporary discourse and discoveries in the field of applied arts. We are committed to going beyond traditional boundaries and championing inclusivity in academic contributions. We greatly welcome diverse contributions from researchers and academics at the global level. We invite the community of academics and researchers from various countries of the world to contribute to the field of applied arts through creative research and studies.
